From Garden State Parkway, southbound exit 88: Route 70 east, continue on through Route 88 intersection. Continue for approximately two miles; turn right onto Bridge Avenue; continue for 3/4 miles to park entrance on right, 1/8 mile before intersection of Route 88.
History:
Captain Cornelius Hendrickson charted two rivers while exploring the Barnegat Bay. One of these was probably Beaver Dam Creek. (Miller 2000:7)
By 1740 there were a few scattered settlers along Beaver Dam Creek. (Miller 2000:102)
The southern and western boundary line of Point Pleasant follows the middle of the north branch of Beaver Dam Creek.

Basketball court, conservation area, handicap accessible, open playing fields, picnic area (enjoy a picnic under the pavilion), two playgrounds, restrooms, soccer, softball, and two tennis courts.

Take a walk along Beaver Dam Creek's boardwalk through tidal wetlands.
